Strengthening climate resilience in Ethiopia demands a shift from reactive measures to proactive, evidence-based policy engagement. ACS supports this transition by translating complex climate science into actionable policy guidance specifically tailored for infrastructure, energy systems, and governance. We recommend utilizing our Scalable Climate Database—which integrates climate hazards, impacts, and finance flows—to support Loss and Damage assessments and inform national development planning. By centering climate justice and equity, Ethiopia can ensure that resilience strategies are inclusive, protecting both the nation’s diverse ecosystems and its most vulnerable populations while maintaining a commitment to scientific rigor and excellence.
